MALVERN Town host unbeaten Sporting Khalsa tomorrow (3pm) with manager Les Jones looking to use the game as a yardstick for his side’s progress.

Town are third in the West Midlands League Premier Division after five wins and a draw from eight games.

Khalsa have won all five of their league games and are just a point worse off in the table.

Malvern are also looking to bounce back from Tuesday’s 3-2 defeat to Bewdley and last Saturday’s FA Vase reverse by the same score against Walsall Wood.

Jones said: “It will be good to test ourselves against them and see where we are. We were disappointed against Bewdley after Saturday’s defeat and it’s just what we didn’t want going into the game against Khalsa.”

Forward Bryan Craven (knee), midfielder Joe Leighton (groin) and defender Joe Endacott (foot) are injured. Town visit Dudley Sports on Tuesday (7.45pm).
