WORCESTER went joint top of Worcestershire Cricket League Division One with Pershore on 114 points after beating their rivals by three wickets.

After scoring 154-8 in 50 overs, Pershore looked to be heading for another efficient victory when the visitors were reduced to 102-7.

But Liam Weston and Liam Kelleher had other ideas, seeing their side to victory without further loss and ending Pershore’s unbeaten record.
