FORMER Malvern captain Dave Irish has agreed to become the club’s director of rugby after their second successive relegation.
The Spring Lane side have dropped from National Three level via Midlands One West and will have a county derby with Droitwich in Midlands Two West (South) next season.
Irish also played for Worcester as well as being head coach at Kidderminster Carolians and Ludlow.
Malvern must also tackle Banbury, Leamington, Newbold-on-Avon, Nuneaton Old Edwardians, Old Coventrians, Old Laurentians, Old Leamingtonians, Old Yardleians, Pinley and Spartans next season.
Upton and Ledbury remain in Midlands Three West (South), facing Bedworth, Cheltenham North, Dunlop, Harbury, Manor Park, Old Wheatleyans, Pershore, Shipston-on-Stour, Southam and Woodrush.
Bromyard stay in Midlands Four West (North).
