MALVERN Hills Buzzards moved level with the Worcester Basketball League leaders after a 95-59 home thrashing of Bromsgrove Bears.
The game began well at Dyson Perrins Academy with both teams playing an intensive, hard-fought first-half.
But Buzzards took control with a 16-point lead at the end of the second quarter and continued to reign with a number of players enjoying their highest scoring game of the season.
Top-scorer Matt Tedds put away an impressive 29 points followed by Jacek Gibalski with 20 and Daniel Tedds with 18.
Buzzards finished with just one defeat and a series of wins to tie with leaders Worcester Bears.
As the regular season closes, Buzzards now prepare themselves for the play-off semi-finals where it is likely they will meet Wyre Forest Flames.
Buzzards are backed by Rivers Fitness and also attracted a good following of spectators for their final home league match.
