A LARGE field of 138 The Worcestershire members took part over two days in the annual Christmas Goose competition.
In Division One, Tim Wright, playing off a handicap of nine, was the winner with 38 points ahead of Norman Bolton (11) with 37.
Peter Basten (16) took Division Two with 37 and Mike Hill (15) finished second on count-back with 36.
The Division Three victor was Will Brimmel (26) with 38 on count-back from Bob Rogers (21).
The Malvern Wells club’s ladies played a stableford competition in round five of their winter league.
Divisional winners were June Jones (One) with 34 points, Hazel Cartledge (Two) with 29 and Jenny Jones (Three) with 34.
The nine-hole competition went to Joy Williams.
