UNBEATEN Malvern Dipsticks enjoyed a 5-0 win at Worcester to build on their 4-3 success over Winchcombe.
Despite being comprehensively beaten by Worcester last season, hard-working Malvern pulled out an impressive team display.
Keeper Jenny Parkes had a quiet game thanks to a rejigged defence and a more disciplined midfield.
Ben Thomas marshalled the ever-willing Ben Hughes and Tim Riley at the back with Neil Anderson, Nick Hitchings and Leigh Robinson showing shape and discipline down the wings.
The Worcester goalkeeper shone as the scores were goalless at half-time but Hughes opened Malvern’s account with a shot into the corner of the goal. A perfect short corner allowed Sarah Mace to dispatch the second and then Riley finished off a classic counter-attack.
Mace provided Tom Dold with a fourth goal before topping off a player-of-thematch display by setting up Robinson to complete the scoring and maintain their 100 per cent record.
Liz McCann and Richard Peate (3) guided Dipsticks to victory over Winchcombe.
