CORSE and Staunton Playing Fields have netted a £9,550 Biffa Award grant.
Their coaching net facility project will see a third practice lane installed to complement the existing two which will be refurbished, meeting increased demand.
Members of the club near Redmarley will carry out all of the installation work for the static net and frame.
Charlie Hulls, honorary treasurer of the playing fields, said: “We are so grateful to both Biffa Award and the Lords Taverners for making this project possible.
“The new facility will enable us to meet the everincreasing demand of the junior section.”
The multi-million pound award fund helps community and environmental projects.
