BRANSFORD’S August Stableford saw 2012 club captain Lesley Lammas finish three points ahead of husband Andy to win Division One.
The victor managed 35 points and Mike Madden was third on 30.
Division Two was claimed by M Tipton with 42 ahead of Denis Atkins (41) and Oliver Walker (39).
The August Medal went to 22-handicapper Robert Phillips with a four-under nett par score of 68.
Eliot Payne managed 84 gross 13 handicap 71 nett and Gordon Jack 83-9=74.
The seniors’ B and H Trophy was comfortably won by Ray Loughrey and Adrian Wood.
They finished four points ahead of their nearest challengers but it was a tighter race for second spot in the stableford pairs event.
Seniors captain Peter Harrison and Robin Young just pipped Roy Williams and Alan Craven by a point with another five duos finishing just behind on 40.
Scores: Loughrey and Wood 46, Harrison and Young 42, Williams and Craven 41, Malcolm Bradley and Alan Wallcroft, Ferey Ghani and Robin Brighton, Dave Miller and Rob Walker, Brian Lawrence and Trish Godwin, Lee Dyment and Pauline Wetton 40, Harry Godwin and John Phillips, Charlie Payne and Mark Allen 39.
The seniors’ team have lost just once at Bransford in their summer programme, winning 6½-½ against Cleobury Mortimer and 5-2 over Churchill and Blakedown.
However, they lost 4½-2½ at Little Lakes, Bewdley.
Scores, Cleobury: Harrison (21) and Phillips (19) won 3 and 1, Godwin (15) and Roger Clark (21) won 4 and 2, Ghani (15) and Miller (22) won 4 and 3, Davidge (18) and Parnell (27) won 6 and 5, Lawrence (20) and Andy Lamb (26) halved, Williams (18) and Mike Holmes (27) won 5 and 4, Wallcroft (22) and Craven (28) won 3 and 2.
Churchill: Harrison and Godwin won 3 and 2, Ian Hamilton (14) and Miller lost 1 down, Wallcroft and Clark won 5 and 4, Phillips and Williams won 2 up, Holmes and Craven won 3 and 2, Davidge and Wood (21) won 3 and 2, Lamb and Parnell lost 3 and 2.
