REDMARLEY are third in Gloucestershire Cricket League Division One after a 64-run home win over bottom-of-the-table Oldlands.
Toby Dudfield (55) and Julian Jones (49 not out) starred in the villagers’ 226-6 from 45 overs before James Holland (4-24) and Rob Gummer (3-33) struck in the response of 162 all out.
Newent beat fellow strugglers Tetbury by eight wickets in Division Two after dismissing them for 139.
Andrew Brookes, Liam Devries, Karl Mortimer and Ashley Mortimer took two wickets each with openers Morgan Evans (38) and James Griffiths (41) building a solid reply.
Division Three leaders Dymock thrashed Chalford by 86 runs with David Williams (110no) and Will Green (70) helping them amass 244-3 from 45 overs.
