PAPERSTATION Malvern League Division Two leaders Manor Park Travellers exerted their authority with a 10-0 whitewash of Abbeydowne.

Ken Hipwell, Martin Snee and Toby Wren won all the singles, while Zoe Snee joined her father in a doubles triumph.

CSSC Nomads and Ripple contested close games with only three sets being decided in straight games.

The doubles went to Nomads, who triumphed 7-3 overall, after 118 points were scored with the scorecard reading 10-12, 13-11, 16-14, 9- 11, 12-10.

Dave Hayes claimed all his singles and the doubles with Adrian Fray, who took two singles, while Geoff Davies chipped in with one victory.

Roger Davies (2) and Pete Nash replied for Ripple.

Andy Banks saved the whitewash for Malvern Tornados in a 9-1 defeat to YMCA Vulcans but Richard Bennett and Simon Harrison both won three and Beryl Shammon two.

For X-Police, Steve Mulka was in great form against Crackpots ‘D’, bagging all his singles and the doubles with James Mulka.

Alan Holmes gave them their other win in a 7-3 success.

James Palmer replied with two and Bob Rhodes one for Crackpots ‘D’.
