MALVERN Rangers hope to rearrange their Worcestershire FA Saturday Junior Cup semifinal against Fairfield Villa after 15 players were struck down by the norovirus.

The West Midlands Football League Division Two outfit called the game off at short notice last month because of the sickness bug which only left them with eight men.

However, Villa complained to the county FA because they thought a number of the Rangers players were attending a wedding, something the club deny. Worcestershire FA are investigating.
