Town targeting win

MALVERN Town head to Cradley Town tomorrow (3pm) looking to win for the first time in four West Midlands Football League Premier Division matches.

The Langland Stadium side have struggled for form, losing to Pegasus Juniors (2-1), Black Country Rangers (3-0) and Bromyard Town (3-2).

In the midweek local derby at Bromyard, Les Jones’ side were denied by a Ben Evans hat-trick despite taking the lead at Delahay Meadow.

Lee Hooper struck but Evans moved Bromyard 2-1 ahead before Hooper grabbed his second to draw the teams level.

However, Evans secured Bromyard's victory with a penalty to give his side the double over Malvern after their 2-1 away win in September. Eleventh-placed Malvern hope for better at Cradley before hosting Wellingtonon Tuesday(7.45pm).

Striker Dave Reynolds should be available having missed two ofthe last three games.

Meanwhile, sixth-from-bottom Bromyard also have a busy period, hosting Bartley Green tomorrow (3pm) before visiting Bustleholme next Wednesday (7.45pm).
