A TOP Malvern prospect was on target at Wyre Forest Company of Archers’ annual tournament at Stourport.

The 24th year of the club’s Portsmouth competition involved shooting 60 arrows from 20 yards and attracted a record entry of 100, including 21 juniors.

The men’s recurve trophy was won by Malvern Archers’ Jason Relf in his first indoor season shooting as a senior with a score of 569.

Relf was ranked fifth nationally in his age group before turning 18 and attends the Great Britain Performance Academy.

The Dysons Perrins Academy sixth former holds more than 150 county records, one national best and represented England at the Euro Nations.
