Large response to survey
MORE than 1,000 residents responded to an environment survey sent to homes across West Worcestershire by the constituency's Liberal Democrat Parliamentary candidate Richard Burt.
The survey asked people to send their views and ideas on how to tackle climate chaos, recycling, and protecting the environment in Worcestershire.
Mr Burt said: "I am delighted with the massive response and will be writing to everyone who returned the survey to thank them, giving a detailed breakdown of the findings and how we can put ideas into action in West Worcestershire.
"Many people mentioned the need for supermarkets to cut down on wasteful food packaging, reducing the waste stream going into incinerators, or landfill sites.
"We will be undertaking a detailed analysis of the results and taking up some of the issues that residents have raised with district councils."
