Chase band catches seasonal spirit

THE Malvern Chase Brass Band has been raising money for a good cause by playing carols around the Malvern area in the run-up to Christmas.
The band has already raised nearly £700 by performing at locations such as Morrisons, Waitrose and The Cross Keys, in Belmont Road.
The money raised will be donated to the Minor Injuries Unit at Malvern’s long-awaited new community hospital, which is set to open in 2010.
