FUNDS for the refurbishment of Suckley Village Hall continue to grow. Tom Talbot reports that last month's quiz was a great success. Sixteen teams took part and enjoyed a ploughman's supper, an excellent raffle and a well run quiz under the auspices of Chris Dunn. The event raised £218.
On Saturday, December 8 local residents will be able to start the festive season by spending a few hours at the Village Hall learning to make beautiful Christmas decorations from their own gardens. Participants will be taken through the whole process from design to making the finished decorations. The doors will open at 2pm and there will be demonstrations at 2.20pm and 3.15pm. Tools and materials will be supplied and the cost of the afternoon will be £2 including mulled wine, mince pies and juice for the children. everyone is invited to come along and join in the fun.
