THE next Kids Klobber Sale will take place at the Welland Village Hall on Saturday, January 25, from 11am to 12.30pm.

To book a sales table, or for further information, please ring Jo Horrobin on 01684 310256. Come along and pick up a bargain. There will also be cakes, tea, coffee or juice available.

Welland WI has altered the date of their January meeting to Monday, January 27 at 7.30pm in the Village Hall.

The group will be entertained by Denzil Dudley who will tell the story of Robert Burns, followed by a ‘Taste of Burns Night Supper’. Come along and join in the fun. New members are always welcome.

From February 17, the meetings will revert to normal (third Monday of the month at 7.30pm) in the Village Hall.

Forthcoming events in the Welland Cordery Club (RSV Over 60s) include: February 6, Talk by Mr A Golightly on his visit to Africa; March 6, a talk and April 3 – lunch. All meetings take place in Welland Village Hall from 2.30pm to 4.30pm. Further details from the club leader, Margaret Smith, on 01684 833252.

There will be a flea market in St James Church on March 8, 9am-3pm in aid of the Church. Tables cost £15 each and can be reserved from Mary on 01684 310289.
