EVENTS in St James Church for later this year:
On Friday, December 13, at 7pm, Andy Kelso’s unique Elvis Tribute Act will return to St James’ Church. This is a cabaret-style event where the audience can either just enjoy the songs or get up and dance in an atmosphere that will put everybody at their ease. Tickets include a fish and chip supper and a sell out is expected. Book in advance on 01684 592088 or buy tickets from Welland Post Office.
The next Kids Klobber Sale is at Welland village hall from 11am to 12.30pm on January 25. To book a sales table, or for further information, call Jo Horrobin on 01684 310256. Pick up a bargain and enjoy the cakes, tea, coffee or juice.
Forthcoming events in the Welland Cordery Club (RSV over 60s) include:- January 16 – Chatterday; February 6 – Talk by Mr A Golightly on his visit to Africa; March 6 – a talk and April 3 – Lunch.
