THE next meeting of the Leigh and District Gardeners Club will be a Christmas party and quiz at Alfrick village hall on Thursday, December 19, at 8pm. Bring a plate of food.
The local walking group will meet on Friday, December 13, for the Christmas walk from the Fox and Hounds. It will be about four miles long and starts at 10am. For more info call Garth on 01886 833362.
The Christmas friendship lunch will be on Wednesday, December 11, at 12.30pm at a cost of £4. The lunch is two courses with tea or coffee.
Numbers are needed so call Ellen on 832990 or Chris on 832570. From the profits this year, £200 has gone to the food bank.
The village carol singing will take place on Thursday, December 19, at 6.30pm outside Alfrick village shop.
