THE coffee morning held at Marion Lewis’ last week raised £223 for the Children’s Society which helps disadvantaged children in the UK. Thank you all who attended.
Powick Ramblers have been walking throughout the autumn and have been invited to join with Malvern Hills Footpath Society for their Christmas Carols Walk on Saturday, December 14; more details later.
December 1 is the start of Advent and parishioners from across the United Benefice welcome back the vicar Reverend Sue Irwin who has spent the last three months on her Sabbatical.
Advance notice is given of a Christingle Service for Advent at St Peter’s Church, Powick, on Sunday, December 8, at 11am.
Children will receive a Christingle Orange in return for a donation towards the Children’s Society.
