3:00pm Wednesday 20th March 2013 in Villages
A FEW weeks ago I let you know that the annual meeting of the village hall had to be postponed – we now have a new date.
It will be on Monday, April 29, in the main hall at 7.30pm; everyone is welcome to attend.
There will be reports from the officers, an opportunity to take a look at the new facilities, and also the chance to let the committee know how you would like to see the Hall developing in the future.
As there will be no coffee morning on May 2 due to local elections, the draw for the 100 Club will be made during the course of the evening.
The committee look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible.
Another date for your diary is Saturday, March 23, when there will be the last Cricket Club Quiz before bats are taken out of winter storage and play starts again in April.
The venue is as usual the Armpit at the Brewer’s Arms and the start time is 7.30pm.
A plea for help. If anyone has an hour or so to spare each month, then how about joining St James’ Church cleaning rota?
They are in urgent need of extra hands to take on this role; so, if you think you may be able to help please ring Rosemary Herbert on 572497.
