GOOD news for village hall users. The committee have decided to go ahead with the modernisation of the entrance and, most importantly, the loos.

Hopefully work will commence before the end of the month; the first job being a disabled toilet.

The hall will continue to be available for normal activities with, it is hoped, little disruption to use of the hall.

The benefits of this longawaited improvement will, I'm sure, be appreciated by all.

Those of you who use the village website will have seen that changes are taking place – when logging on you are now directed to a new website which involves many improvements and changes to the old site – www.westmalvernhallandvil lage.net Last week’s Malvern Gazette gave good coverage of recent developments about the future of the Outdoor Centre.

Hopefully the outcome of yesterday’s meeting of the County Council's cabinet will bring positive news.

School on Thursday.

If you’re intending to go to the WI meeting then please remember to wear a swishy skirt – I understand that the subject for the evening is Flamenco Dancing and that participation will be required!
