MEMBERS of the Forest of Dean District Council Planning Committee met on Monday, February 11, to discuss the plans to build eight houses and two flats on the proposed site at Rock Pitch, Redmarley.

The final vote, out of 15 councillors, was eight against, six for, one abstention.

Therefore the proposed plans were rejected.

Severn Vale have six months in which to appeal against that decision.
