TWO events are taking place this evening.

Firstly, it is the annual meeting of the Allotment Association, which will be held at the Brewers Arms, and secondly there is the monthly meeting of the West Malvern WI.

All those going to the WI will be making a Christmas cracker and should take two toilet roll tubes and a little present to go inside.

The community market will be on at 3.15pm at the school the following day, Friday, November 9, and all are welcome.

I understand that this is also the day for the launch of the St James Cookery Book, A Taste of the Hills; copies should soon be available to all.

You may have seen that St James’ Church are hoping to put together a memoir recording the history of their church choir.

Anyone who has memories, anecdotes or any material connected with the choir can phone Gwyn Klee on 01684 562114, speak to Rosemary Herbert or leave information in an envelope, marked Choir, in the Church.

Memories can also be recorded, so if you can help with this do let them know.
