CHILDREN at Upton Primary School are calling for donations of empty two-litre plastic drinks bottles to help them with their latest gardening project.
Having recently achieved bronze Eco Schools status, members of the school's Big Green Eco Gardening Club are now working towards their silver award. As part of this they will be building a plastic bottle greenhouse.
They are being supported in the project by Upton in Bloom, while Longdon-based business Vowles will be donating wood for the greenhouse frame.
Any donations of plastic bottles can be left with the school and will be gratefully received.
Upton in Bloom will also be creating more raised beds at the school as part of its work in the community.
