THE delights of continental shopping will be coming to the waterfront in Upton when a European market visits the town later this month.

Twenty traders from France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Poland and Holland, many wearing traditional costumes, will be taking part in the event, from 9am to 5.30pm on Friday and Saturday, July 24 and 25.

Food lovers will be able to purchase a range of pastries, breads, meats and cheeses and for those in the mood for something a bit stronger there will be a range of Normandy ciders and calvados available.

There will also be a wide range of hand-made, high quality clothing, bags, soaps, toys and craft items available.
