STAFF and pupils at an Alcester school are celebrating the completion of a £300,000 revamp.

Tudor Grange Primary Academy Haselor underwent a complete transformation with a new library, refurbished classrooms, new pupil toilets and reception area. The school kitchen has also been relocated to make the most of the learning space for the students.

Work on the project started in July last year.

The investment came via a Government Capital Works Grant awarded to Tudor Grange Academies Trust. The trust allocated the grant funding across all six academies.

The school also received 10 new laptops donated by charity Friends of Haselor Academy.

Principal Paige Neale said: "It has completely changed the learning environment for the children. The classrooms are brighter and more accessible for the children.

"We now have space in the library for a whole class meaning the children can work together and can access resources more effectively."

She added: "The children and the staff are proud of their academy and are lucky to have seen such a transformation at Haselor."
