A WOMAN with a history of offending described as a "neighbour from hell" has been evicted from her home.

Hayley Rowberry, formerly of Atyeo Close, Malvern, who has convictions for theft, assault and drug offences in the area has been removed from her home after a possession order on her property was secured, after residents in the community spoke out against her.

PC Dave Wise, of Malvern Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: "This resident's behaviour has caused significant harm to the people of Malvern over a number of years and we are grateful to those members of the community who have been brave in coming forward to provide the evidence that has helped secure this eviction.

Rowberry, 34, has also been subject to a number of anti-social complaints from local residents regarding noisy parties and drunken behaviour.

PC Wise, Fortis Living and residents presented evidence against her at Worcester County Court in September 2014.

It was here a suspended possession order was granted which has now been followed up with a full eviction.

Since then, there have been more incidents of anti-social behaviour, and on March 18 a quantity of what is believed to be heroin was discovered at her address.

Several people remain on police bail in connection with the drugs that were found.

One resident of Atyeo Close, who did not wish to be named, said Rowberry was a neighbour from hell and that his family were exposed to verbal abuse and loud music. All of which made them feel unsafe living there.

He said: "It was a real pain while she was living here.

"No one felt comfortable letting their children out to play, as there were dodgy people in the street and in her lawn, drinking and doing drugs.

"No one needs it and it was not nice to live with.

"We've had family events ruined by her and her friends. We'd be out in the back garden with family and friends, and we'd have to put up with people shouting at us, swearing and being aggressive toward us. At first we thought it was just the way it was and we'd have to put up with it.

"She was definitely a neighbour from hell, and it really shocked me.

"We were living in fear because of her, but now she's gone it's a lot quieter. It's a nice community around here in general."
