SEVERAL emergency crews were called to the scene of crash in which a car ended up in the river Dore at Pontrilas.
The driver was later found safe at home. They had not reported the crash.
Mike Duggan, paramedic operational manager, for West Midlands Ambulance Service, said there had been a "massive multi-agency response to reports of a vehicle in a river in Pontrilas."
He added: "Turns out the driver safe didn’t inform anyone of the RTC overnight!"
Officers from West Mercia Police, and firefighters from Ewyas Harold, Hereford, Ross, and Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service, rushed to help at the scene.
