POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a crash that left a young boy injured.

Emergency services were called to the smash, which involved a car and bicycle, on the A442 between Kidderminster and Droitwich - just south of Cutnall Green.

The cyclist - a 12-year-old boy - suffered minor injuries including cuts and scratches to his arms and legs.

Inspector Lee Page said: "We know a man and a woman stopped at the scene to offer help but unfortunately they left before their details were obtained.

"I am keen to speak to these people as they may be able to provide important information which could assist the investigation."

Anyone who can help should call 101.
