TWO teenagers will appear in court over a string of daytime burglaries, including ones in Alvechurch, Hollywood, and Wythall.
Joseph Foley, 19, of Thatchway Gardens, Hawksley, Birmingham, and a 15-year-old male who cannot be named, were arrested on March 27 and charged the next day with conspiracy to commit burglary from dwellings between January 1 and March 23.
A total of 21 alleged burglary offences and an alleged offence of theft of motor vehicle have been included within this conspiracy charge.
Incidents include a burglary and an attempted burglary in Lea End Lane, Alvechurch on February 22; a burglary in Dumble Pit Lane, Alvechurch on February 1; an attempted burglary in Barkers Lane, Wythall on January 24; a burglary in Green Lane, Alvechurch on January 22; a burglary in Wheeley Road, Alvechurch on January 6; and a burglary in Alcester Road, Hollywood, on January 6.
The two were remanded into custody to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on March 29.
The magistrate released the 15-year-old on conditional court bail not to enter the Wythall area and an overnight curfew with regular police checks.
Foley was remanded and both are next scheduled to appear at Worcester Crown Court on Monday, April 30, for plea and trial preparation hearing.
