A NUMBER of roads in Wyre Forest will be closed on Sunday (September 24) for the Velo Birmingham event.
Around 15,000 riders will descend on Worcestershire on Sunday for Velo Birmingham – a 100-mile closed roads charity bike ride.
In the Wyre Forest district and surrounding areas, roads will be closed at various times from 6am to 3.30pm in Caunsall, Wolverley, Kidderminster, Bewdley, Stourport, Chaddesley Corbett, Dunley and Great Witley.
A spokesman from Worcestershire County Council said: "As the closures for this event are likely to be disruptive, people are asked to plan accordingly as the only exemption for the closures is for pedestrians and emergency services."
