Travellers on Racefield Meadow, off Newtown Road, Worcester.
TRAVELLERS who were parked on Racefield Meadow in Worcester left the site overnight between Thursday and Friday.
Worcester City Council had planned to secure an order at Worcester County Court this morning (Friday) to get the travellers to leave.
Bur this morning, after discovering the travellers had left, the concil cancelled the court hearing.
At least five caravans moved onto land near Rowntree Gardens almost two weeks ago, on Saturday, July 15.
Previously, Worcester City Council visited the site to carry out a welfare check and travellers told officers they would be leaving on Friday, July 21, but failed to do so.
