POLICE are warning motorists to take precautions after a spate of car break-ins of cars.
Several cars have been targetted in villages around the Pershore area this week.
Money was stolen from a car parked at Willow Close, Ashton Under Hill, between 1am and 6am on Tuesday.
A purse was stolen from a vehicle at Millfield, Sedgeberrow, between 10.30pm on Monday and 6.30am the next day. A second car was searched, but nothing was stolen.
The same night, between 11pm and 7.30am, a vehicle parked at Willow Close, Ashton Under Hill was broken into and searched, but nothing appears to have been stolen.
And between 11.45pm and 11am, a vehicle parked at Bridewell Drive, Sedgeberrow, was broken into and a bag of £1 coins and some sweets were stolen.
The incident numbers are 0754s/250717, 0698s/250717, 0619s/250717 and 0399s/250717.
Police are warning driver not to leave cars unlocked, not to park in poorly-lit areas and not to leave belongings on display.
