A BED and breakfast in Hereford is on the market for £850,000.
Somerville House in Bodenham Road is for sale with Colliers International.
The Victorian property, built in 1895, was given a makeover by the current owners which has resulted in a five-star rating from the AA, annually, for the last nine years.
There are 12 letting rooms and accommodation for the owner.
Colliers International hotels director Peter Brunt said: "The property was already a smartly presented business when our clients acquired it, and they have lavished considerable additional money on it since – but they feel a sale would allow them to invest in other business opportunities in Italy.
"Most importantly to potential buyers, Somerville House offers considerable scope to upscale the business - whether through converting part of the generous owners’ accommodation into another suite or by moving up a gear from the present rather relaxed business style of the current owners, who are of relatively mature years.
"We would expect that a more intense style of operation could generate profit of as much as 50 per cent of the net turnover of £225,000 for the year ended March 2016."
