VINTAGE clothing from as far reaching as Paris, Iran, Kuwait and Palestine have been stolen during a raid on a Bidford home.

Between 4pm on Friday, November 11 and 9am on Wednesday, November 16 an outbuilding on the grounds of a property in Honeybourne Road was broken into by removing a padlock.

More than 50 items, believed to be worth about £9,000 to £10,000, which have been collected over the last forty years, were taken.

Designer clothing including a short black Chanel evening coat with large black buckle and matching short sleeveless cocktail dress, a pair of beige leather knee high zipped Pierre Cardin boots, a brown suede and leather coat from Bacarat Boutique, a full length straight purple chiffon evening dress with strap plus multi layered matching poncho and beige linen jacket with orange zigzag both by Louis Ferraud were included in the haul.

They also swiped a selection of items from the brand Jaeger, including a red and black striped silk skirt, a green zigzag patterned skirt, a yellow wool jacket, a mid-blue cotton blouse and skirt and a navy cotton skirt and blouse with small multi coloured spots.

Several suitcases were also taken.

Warwickshire Police is appealing to members of the public for help to locate the items.
