GROUPS and good causes in Kington are being encouraged to apply for a grant from the town council.
Every spring and autumn the council awards money to support the work of organisations within the Kington Parish. This can be a voluntary or community group or the branch of a national organisation, as long as the work they do is of direct benefit to the town or people who live there.
Application forms and guidance notes are available now from town clerk Gwilym Rippon at Kington Town Council Offices, Old Police Station, Market Hall Street, Kington.

Completed applications and all supporting paperwork need to be sent back to the council office by 5pm, on November 25.
