A FUNDRAISING night of live music will be held in memory of a Wickhamford couple who were killed after being hit by a car earlier this year.
Colin and Natalie Briffett, aged 45 and 47, died on Sunday, May 1, after they were hit by a Ford Focus on the A44 Longden Hill, just outside Wickhamford, at around 9.40pm.
At their inquest in August, coroner Geraint Williams concluded they had died as a result of "a tragic accident" which Christopher Allen, who was driving the car, "could in no way have avoided".
Now relatives of the tragic couple have arranged a special event to take place from 7pm at Wickhamford Club on Saturday, November 19, to celebrate their memory.
The gathering will see music acts Ade Danby and Fifteen English Pounds play live sets, and there will be motorbike accessories on offer.
There will also be a raffle, with all proceeds going to animal charities. Anyone who would like to donate a prize can call 07915 219030.
