A NEW beer has been created ahead of Bromyard Folk Festival later this month.
The ‘Tipsy Clog’ was the brainchild of Wye Valley Brewery competition winner Mo Hatton of Coventry, who spent the day at the factory with her partner creating the drink.
Alongside the usual mix of Goldings hops and Maris Otter barley during the boil stage a brand new experimental hob was added, grown locally by Simon Parker at Munderfield and named ‘Ernest’ after Professor Ernest Salmon – the first great hop breeder in this country.
Tipsy Clog will be available at your local from September 1, and on the festival bar from September 9 to 11 at Bromyard Football Club.
