RESIDENTS are invited to attend the NHS Wyre Forest Clinical Commissioning Group Annual General Meeting.

The meeting will take place on Tuesday (July 5), from 9am in the council chamber at Wyre Forest House, in Finepoint Way. It will be followed by the bi-monthly governing body meeting.

Dr Simon Rumley, chair and clinical lead for Wyre Forest CCG, said: “We are an organisation committed to commissioning services that meet the needs of our local population and the AGM will give the public the opportunity to find out about our achievements over the past 12 months.

“There will be a presentation of the annual report and financial accounts and we will also be discussing the challenges and opportunities for the NHS in the Wyre Forest.

“I hope that as many local people as possible will be able to join us to find out more about their local CCG.

NHS Wyre Forest CCG represents 12 GP practices, serving a population of 112,000 patients and has a budget of approximately £127 million.

The agenda and meeting papers will be available on wyreforestccg.nhs.uk.
