A RELIEVED Worcester woman has finally been reunited with her pet cat after it went missing for seven weeks.
The seven-year-old tabby and white cat, called Jenson, had been living in Marigold Close, St Peter's, but went missing on Thursday, May 5.
Owner Katie Wickenden, 28, launched a search for the animal and even offered a reward of £100 to the person who could return him to her care.
But on Monday, she told the Worcester News he had finally come home.
The cat lover said: "It's with great news I can finally say Jenson is home after seven long weeks. He was half an hour away. So so happy.
"I hope this brings hope for those people still missing your fur babies. It was the power of Facebook that did it not even his chip."
She continued to thank everyone who helped search for Jenson and shared her appeal on social media.
