A MAN has been stabbed after a gang of masked men forced their way into his home demanding cash.

West Mercia Police is appealing for witnesses after the robbery at the property in Beoley Road West on Monday, November 9.

At around 11.15pm, the occupants of the house heard a loud banging on the front door. One of the victims went towards the front door and was stood on the upstairs landing when three men ran up the stairs towards her demanding money.

She was then pushed to the floor and threatened with a bladed object.

A fight then took place between one of the offenders and the son of the woman.

The son received a stab wound to his hand and also sustained injuries to his upper arms.

The offenders then stole a safe from the property and left the address.

The suspects have been described as three white men, and the first offender is believed to be around 6ft2in and was seen wearing a light grey or blue hooded top with a mask and gloves.

The other two men were believed to be shorter than the first offender and were both wearing masks and gloves.

It is believed the offenders then ran from the address into Holloway Drive via the underpass and into a vehicle parked on Beoley Road East. This vehicle is described as a '52 plate silver Ford KA.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area or may have any further information.
