Jane Pearl and Lyndon Webb at the Forest Folk Club. Born in Bowling Green, Kentucky, US, Jane Pearls career began performing shows in her garage with her sister at the age of eight.

She graduated from Western Kentucky University where she was a costume designer for the theatre department but Jane's professional music career began when she was invited on stage to sing Bill Bailey by Doc Livingston.

From the start Jane was known for her intimate audience interactions, banter with fellow musicians and contagious smile. She is joined by Lyndon Webb, fiddler and multi-instrumentalist extraordinaire - a duo not to be missed!

They are performing at the Forest of Dean Folk Club on Sunday August 16. Visit http://www.forestofdeanfolkclub.com/index.php/whats-on/ for more details.

Flora Metallica until Sunday August 16. Ruth Moilliet produces highly finished metal and glass sculptures inspired by the plant kingdom. This smaller display shows how she draws the viewer’s attention to both the overall spectacle and individual beauty of a flower.

Tickets are £5.25 for adults; £4.75 for over 60s and under 16s while under eights go free. Visit http://www.nature-in-art.org.uk/ to find out more.
