THE Bonk scooter shop, in Evesham's Port Street is closing at the end of July as owner Kim Dunn develops a new business venture.

But she says it's not the end of Bonk completely as Bonkers scooter lessons will be running from the Pershore Riverside Activity centre through the summer holidays and then Saturday Mornings from August. As well as scooters, there will be other activities on offer like archery the new stand up paddle boarding.

"It is sad to close the shop, but it’s a conscious decision, and will allow me to focus on other things. I am working more on things like events, promotions for the town, Bonk brand t-shirts and helping local charities with their media and marketing," she explained.

"Everything must go from the shop, including the shop fittings, so if you fancy a bargain, pop in before it’s all gone."

Kim will continue to promote the local community in events and promotions

Kim has been a dynamo for local community events and promotions over the last 3 years, all totally voluntary, and it’s great that she will be diversifying her business to do this in a more official capacity. We would like to wish Kim all the best with her next business venture. More details at www.pershoreriversidecentre.org and www.bonkskate.com
