ANYONE interested in giving up a small amount of their time for a very worthy cause is being invited to help out with fundraising at a Worcester hospice.

St Richard’s Hospice needs more volunteers to help out with street and store collections across the county, as well as selling raffle tickets, wrapping Christmas presents and other activities.

The charity’s fundraising manager Rachel Jones said: “As well as street and store collections we often need volunteer collectors at events such as Ladies Day at Worcester Races, cricket day, our festive lunch and others.

“It’s a great opportunity to support St Richard’s and do something interesting so it’s win, win.”

“We raised around £7,000 last year in our community street and store collections, which really helps make a difference to funding our care.

“As an independent charity offering free care and support to patients and families we rely on kind-hearted donors and volunteers to help us raise these much-needed funds.”
