AN organisation which supports Herefordshire charities and good causes is celebrating a record-breaking year after giving out almost £30,000.
Hereford Round Table – a modern men's movement – holds a number of fundraising events each year so that it can help support its local community.
The Hereford Times teamed up with the organisation earlier this year in a bid to find deserving causes to donate its funds to.
Tablers celebrated news of the record-breaking figure at the organisation's handover dinner at the Left Bank, organised by outgoing chairman Gavin Williams.
William Jackson will take his place as the new chairman and will be joined by Andy Banks as vice chairman.
The Round Table summer ball will be held at Burton Court on July 4 which will take the theme 'The Best of Herefordshire'.
Other events planned include a trip to Ireland, dragon boating, go-karting, tours around local businesses, kayaking, a murder mystery evening and the competitive Golfing Cup.
