STOURPORT police are holding property marking events next weekend.

The events will be held on the weekend of Saturday, May 16, and Sunday, May 17.

Residents are encouraged to bring along garden and power tools to be marked. The property will be marked with a visible permanent marking system which is designed to act as a visible deterent against theft.

On Saturday, May 16, they will be at Areley Kings Village Hall in Areley Common from 10am to 12pm, and the Walshes Community Centre in Linden Avenue from 1pm to 3pm.

On Sunday, May 17, they will be at Lickhill Community Centre in Lickhill Road from 10am to 12pm, and the Tesco car park in Severn Road from 1pm to 3pm.
