TENBURY Town Council has given itself a week to fill two vacancies.
The council has 13 members but only 11 candidates stood for the places on the authority and were all ‘elected’ uncontested without a vote.
But this still leaves two places unfilled and therefore it is hoped that two people can be found to co-opt on to the council before the first meeting next Thursday (May 14).
Tenbury Town Council meetings are usually held on the first Monday of each month except August when there is no meeting.
However, the schedule was changed because of the general election and elections to Malvern Hills District Council.
