POLICE have criticised onlookers as being disrespectful after they filmed the immediate aftermath of an incident which saw a man killed on rail tracks in Hereford.
Emergency services, including an air ambulance, were called to the area close to the city's station on Saturday evening.
The man, who has not been named, was declared dead at the scene.
On arrival, police officers found onlookers filming the scene as the emergency services went about their work, causing one safer neighbourhood team to plead for restraint.
“Police are dealing with a person who has died near Hereford train station,” the Hereford City Southside and Rural team posted on Twitter - under the online name, Southside Cops - to its 5,000 followers.
"We ask people NOT to film what we are dealing with and show respect," they said.
