A HOSPICE which serves the Cotswolds is to have a fundraising boost when the winners of the 2014 British Brass Band championships provides an evening of entertainment.
Katharine House Hospice, which provides care for residents in Gloucestershire, is welcoming the Yorkshire-based Black Dyke Band to St Mary's Church, Horsefair, Banbury, on Saturday March 28 at 7.30pm.
Tickets for this one-off performance are £20 and all proceeds go directly to the Hospice. They can be purchased by ringing (01295) 812161 or by downloading an application form from www.khh.org.uk
Katharine House Hospice provides all of its services free of charge to patients and their families. This year the cost will be £3.3 million, of which the hospice must raise £2.3 million (£6,300 per day), itself, from voluntary sources and fundraising events.
